AN ACT CONCERNING THE TRANSFER OF JUVENILE MATTERS TO THE REGULAR CRIMINAL DOCKET.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Assembly convened:
That section 46b-127 of the general statutes be amended to (1) clarify the time limits governing a transfer from the docket for juvenile matters to regular criminal docket, and (2) ensure that the best interests of the minor child are given due consideration when making such a transfer.
Statement of Purpose:
To clarify the statute governing discretionary transfers of juvenile matters to the regular criminal docket.
