AN ACT ESTABLISHING A LOW-INTEREST LOAN PROGRAM FOR THE REPAIR OR REPLACEMENT OF PRIVATE SEPTIC SYSTEMS.

Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Assembly convened:

That the general statutes be amended to establish a low-interest loan or grant program for the repair of private septic systems that is funded through federal Clean Water Act funds.

Statement of Purpose:

To assist with the repair and replacement of private septic systems.
