AN ACT CONCERNING THE SCHOOL BUILDING PROJECT AT CARRIGAN MIDDLE SCHOOL IN WEST HAVEN.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Assembly convened:
That, notwithstanding the provisions of section 10-283 of the general statutes, or any regulation adopted pursuant to said section 10-283, requiring that no school building project shall be added to the 2011 school construction priority list, the project for the installation of new energy efficient windows at the Carrigan Middle School in West Haven with estimated total project costs of one million dollars is included in the 2011 school construction priority list and shall be eligible to be subsequently considered for a grant commitment from the state, provided the town of West Haven files an application for a school building project prior to June 30, 2011, and meets all other provisions of chapter 173 of the general statutes or any regulation adopted by the State Board of Education.
Statement of Purpose:
To include the school building project for new, energy efficient windows at the Carrigan Middle School in West Haven to the 2011 priority list.
