AN ACT CONCERNING MUNICIPAL CIVIL PENALTIES FOR HOSTS WHO ALLOW MINORS TO POSSESS ALCOHOLIC LIQUOR ON PRIVATE PROPERTY.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Assembly convened:
That the general statutes be amended to permit municipalities to increase the civil penalty for hosts who allow minors to possess alcoholic liquor on private property in violation of section 30-89a of the general statutes and to permit such municipalities to impose recovery costs for such violations.
Statement of Purpose:
To permit municipalities to increase civil penalties for hosts who allow minors to possess alcoholic liquor on private property.
