AN ACT CONCERNING HEALTH INSURANCE RATE INCREASES AND ADVANCE NOTICE.

Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Assembly convened:

That the general statutes be amended to require insurers to provide health insurance policyholders with sixty days' advance notice prior to any premium increases greater than ten per cent.

Statement of Purpose:
