AN ACT CONCERNING THE ESTABLISHMENT AND IMPLEMENTATION OF A DIABETES SCHOOL CARE ACT.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Assembly convened:
That section 10-212a of the general statutes be amended to establish a Diabetes School Care Act that will allow students capable of managing and caring for their diabetes to perform glucose level checks, administer insulin, treat hyperglycemia and possess the supplies needed to manage care of their diabetes in the classroom.
Statement of Purpose:
To establish and implement a Diabetes School Care Act in the state.
