AN ACT REDUCING FRAUD AND ABUSE OF THE MOTOR VEHICLE HANDICAP PERMIT SYSTEM.

Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Assembly convened:

That the general statutes be amended to require on and after October 1, 2011, new and renewed motor vehicle handicap permits include a photograph of the permit holder.

Statement of Purpose:

To reduce fraud and abuse of the handicap permit system.
