AN ACT CONCERNING DRIVING WHILE UNDER THE INFLUENCE OF MARIJUANA.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Assembly convened:
That section 14-227a of the general statutes be amended to prohibit a person from operating a motor vehicle with a concentration of marijuana in the blood of such person that is five nanograms or more of delta 9-tetrahydrocannabinol per milliliter.
Statement of Purpose:
To mirror Colorado law by establishing a minimum amount of marijuana in blood to obtain a conviction for operating a motor vehicle while under the influence of marijuana.
