AN ACT CONCERNING ELECTRIC BICYCLES.

Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Assembly convened:

That the general statutes be amended to (1) define high-speed electric bicycles and low-speed electric bicycles, and (2) subject the operation of high-speed electric bicycles to different regulations than the operation of low-speed electric bicycles.

Statement of Purpose:

To regulate the operation of high-speed and low-speed electric bicycles.
