AN ACT CONCERNING PUBLIC SCHOOL TRANSPORTATION REQUIREMENTS ON DISTRICTS.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Assembly convened:
That section 10-186 of the general statutes be amended to ease the requirement that each local and regional board of education shall furnish, by transportation or otherwise, school accommodations so that each student may attend public school.
Statement of Purpose:
To modify the requirement that each school district needs to provide a seat on the school bus for every student.
