AN ACT WAIVING THE INITIAL AND ANNUAL RENEWAL FEES FOR VETERANS WHO ARE QUALIFYING PATIENTS FOR THE PALLIATIVE USE OF MARIJUANA.

Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Assembly convened:

That sections 21a-408d and 21a-408m of the general statutes be amended to waive the Department of Consumer Protection's fees for any veteran for his or her initial registration and annual renewal of such registration as a qualifying patient for the palliative use of marijuana.

Statement of Purpose:

To waive the initial and renewal registration and administration fees for veterans who are qualifying patients for the palliative use of marijuana.
