AN ACT CONCERNING REGIONAL TECHNOLOGY.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Assembly convened:
That the general statutes be amended to (1) require, in local, regional and state-wide conservation and development plans, consideration of the application and use of technology to enhance efficiencies, foster collaboration, increase transparency and access to information and reduce costs, (2) discontinue regional performance incentive program grants to municipalities for the purpose of connecting to the Nutmeg Network, and (3) require the Department of Administrative Services to annually publish a list of state technology contracts.
Statement of Purpose:
To require the consideration of the application and use of technology in conservation and development plans, discontinue certain incentive program grants, and require publication of a list of state technology contracts.
