AN ACT CONCERNING A PROPERTY TAX FREEZE FOR SENIOR CITIZENS.

Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Assembly convened:

That the general statutes be amended to extend the municipal option for a property tax freeze to include all seniors over the age of seventy rather than limiting such option to those seniors who qualify for the circuit breaker program.

Statement of Purpose:

To provide a municipal option for a property tax freeze to all seniors over the age of seventy.
