REP. ALEXANDER, 58th Dist. |
AN ACT CONCERNING NUMBER PLATES FOR VETERANS.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Assembly convened:
That chapter 246 of the general statutes be amended to require the Commissioner of Motor Vehicles, at the request of any veteran or member of the armed forces, to issue special number plates reflecting the particular military branch in which such person served.
Statement of Purpose:
To mirror Massachusetts law which provides for a distinctive emblem on veterans' license plates identifying which of the five branches of the armed forces such veteran served in.
