AN ACT AUTHORIZING STATE AGENCIES TO PERMIT BUSINESSES TO CORRECT REGULATORY VIOLATIONS WITHOUT PENALTY.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Assembly convened:
That title 4 of the general statutes be amended to permit state agencies to not penalize any business entity for a first-time violation of any provision of a regulation of such state agency, if the business entity takes remedial measures to correct the violation.
Statement of Purpose:
To educate and provide ample time for businesses to correct regulatory violations.
