AN ACT PROHIBITING INSURERS FROM TAKING PUNITIVE ACTION AGAINST HEALTH CARE PROVIDERS WHO OBTAIN OR RECOMMEND EMERGENCY MEDICAL SERVICES.

Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Assembly convened:

That the general statutes be amended to prohibit insurers from taking punitive action against health care providers who obtain or recommend emergency medical services for their patients.
