AN ACT CONCERNING THE NAMING OF A CHILD IN A NOTICE TO QUIT POSSESSION AND SUMMARY PROCESS COMPLAINT.

Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Assembly convened:

That sections 47a-23 and 47a-23a of the general statutes be amended to prohibit a landlord from naming a child in a notice to quit possession and a summary process complaint.

Statement of Purpose:

To protect the privacy of a child by ensuring that the name of such child cannot be included in a notice to quit possession and a summary process complaint.
