AN ACT CONCERNING A TECHNICAL REVISION TO THE STATUTES CONCERNING THE CITIZENS' ELECTION PROGRAM.

Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Assembly convened:

Section 1. Subsection (e) of section 9-702 of the general statutes is repealed and the following is substituted in lieu thereof (Effective from passage):

(e) No grants or moneys paid to a qualified candidate committee from the Citizens' Election Fund under this chapter [,] shall be deemed to be public funds under any other provision of the general statutes or any public or special act unless specifically stated by such provision.


This act shall take effect as follows and shall amend the following sections:
Section 1	from passage	9-702(e)

Statement of Purpose:

To make a technical revision to the statutes concerning the Citizens' Election Program.
