AN ACT PROHIBITING MANUFACTURERS AND OUT-OF-STATE SHIPPERS FROM REQUIRING WHOLESALERS TO PAY FOR ALCOHOLIC LIQUOR UPON DELIVERY.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Assembly convened:
That title 30 of the general statutes be amended to prohibit holders of manufacturer and out-of-state shipper's permits from requiring holders of wholesaler permits to pay for alcoholic liquor upon delivery to the wholesaler and that wholesalers with paid-in-full accounts be given not less than thirty days to pay for such alcoholic liquor.
Statement of Purpose:
To prohibit manufacturers and out-of-state shippers from requiring wholesalers to pay for alcoholic liquor upon delivery and to give wholesalers in good standing a reasonable amount of time to pay for such alcoholic liquor.
