AN ACT REQUIRING AIR CONDITIONING IN NURSING HOMES.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Assembly convened:
That section 19a-522a of the general statutes be amended to require that all patient occupied areas of chronic and convalescent nursing homes and rest homes with nursing supervision be equipped with centralized or individualized air conditioning units.
Statement of Purpose:
To ensure that all patient occupied areas of nursing homes are equipped with air conditioning.
