AN ACT CREATING A PILOT PROGRAM FOR ZERO-BASED BUDGETING FOR THE DEPARTMENT OF CONSUMER PROTECTION AND THE DEPARTMENT OF AGRICULTURE.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Assembly convened:
That the general statutes be amended to create a pilot program requiring zero-based budgeting for the Department of Consumer Protection and the Department of Agriculture commencing with the fiscal year ending June 30, 2018.
Statement of Purpose:
To enact a pilot program to examine zero-based budgeting for two state agencies.
