AN ACT CONCERNING INCREASED HOME AND COMMUNITY-BASED CARE UNDER MEDICAID.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Assembly convened:
That chapter 319v of the general statutes be amended to allow more home and community-based services for elderly persons receiving benefits under the Medicaid program by means of a section 1915i state plan amendment.
Statement of Purpose:
To save the state money and improve the quality of life of senior citizens by increasing participation in home and community-based care under the Medicaid program.
