AN ACT CONCERNING A PHASE-OUT OF THE HOSPITAL TAX.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Assembly convened:
That section 12-263b be amended to phase out the hospital tax over a five-year period, beginning July 1, 2015.
Statement of Purpose:
To reduce the cost of health care, improve access to services and retain jobs in Connecticut.
