AN ACT CONCERNING MENTAL HEALTH AND THE DEFINITION OF "PERSONAL INJURY" UNDER THE WORKERS' COMPENSATION STATUTES.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Assembly convened:
That chapter 568 of the general statutes be amended to include certain job-related mental or emotional impairments within the definition of "personal injury" so that affected individuals may be eligible for workers' compensation benefits.
Statement of Purpose:
To expand workers' compensation benefits to those with certain job-related mental or emotional impairments.
