AN ACT PERMITTING CERTAIN OUT-OF-STATE TEACHERS TO TEACH IN CONNECTICUT SCHOOLS.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Assembly convened:
That section 10-145b of the general statutes be amended to require the Department of Education to issue professional certification to a teacher who is properly certified in a neighboring state and has at least two years of teaching experience.
Statement of Purpose:
To permit certain teachers who are properly certified in neighboring states to teach in Connecticut.
