AN ACT APPROPRIATING FUNDS FOR THE INSTALLATION OF AUTOMATIC SAFETY GATES AT A RAILROAD CROSSING IN WEST REDDING.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Assembly convened:
That sufficient funds be appropriated to the Department of Transportation, from the General Fund, for the fiscal year ending June 30, 2018, for the installation of automatic safety gates that comply with the requirements of a quiet zone at the railroad crossing on Long Ridge Road in West Redding.
Statement of Purpose:
To appropriate funds to the Department of Transportation for the installation of automatic safety gates at a railroad crossing in West Redding and improve safety at such crossing.
