AN ACT ESTABLISHING A CITIZENS IN NEED ACCOUNT.

Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Assembly convened:

That the general statutes be amended to establish a citizens in need account to pay for social services that have been reduced or eliminated due to budgetary constraints, such account to receive voluntary taxpayer contributions from personal income tax refunds.

Statement of Purpose:

To establish a citizens in need account to pay for social services that have been reduced or eliminated due to budgetary constraints.
