AN ACT CONCERNING ELECTIVE ANGIOPLASTY FOR CERTAIN PATIENTS.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Assembly convened:
That chapter 368a of the general statutes be amended to allow a hospital, that is approved to perform emergency angioplasty and not elective angioplasty, to perform elective angioplasty when a patient is in need of emergency angioplasty for myocardial infarction and the patient's physician believes the patient may also need elective angioplasty in the near future.
