AN ACT CONCERNING AN EXEMPTION FROM TEACHER PERFORMANCE EVALUATIONS FOR CERTAIN SCHOOL DISTRICTS.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Assembly convened:
That section 10-151b of the general statutes be amended to exempt teachers employed by a local or regional board of education for a high-performing school district, as determined pursuant to section 10-223e of the general statutes, from teacher performance evaluations.
Statement of Purpose:
To provide tax relief to municipalities by exempting high performing school districts from the teacher performance evaluation mandate.
