AN ACT CONCERNING DELINQUENT PROPERTY TAXES OWED BY SENIOR CITIZENS.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Assembly convened:
That the general statutes be amended to allow senior citizens who are more than two years delinquent in their property taxes to offer the municipality a lien on their property in exchange for the right to remain in their home.
Statement of Purpose:
To provide relief to senior citizens who are delinquent on their property taxes.
