AN ACT CONCERNING THE MOTOR VEHICLE OPERATOR'S LICENSE ADULT INSTRUCTION PERMIT REQUIREMENT.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Assembly convened:
That subsection (b) of section 14-36 of the general statutes, concerning adult instruction permits, be amended to clarify that the provisions of said subsection do not apply to any person eighteen years of age or older who was previously issued a motor vehicle operator's license by the Department of Motor Vehicles.
Statement of Purpose:
To clarify that the adult instruction permit requirements only apply to drivers who have never been issued a driver's license in Connecticut.
