AN ACT CONCERNING THE ZERO EMISSION RENEWABLE ENERGY CREDIT PROGRAM.

Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Assembly convened:

That title 16 of the general statutes be amended to require the Public Utilities Regulatory Authority to give bid preference to applicants with operational facilities applying for the zero emission renewable energy credit program.

Statement of Purpose:

To give bid preference in awarding contracts for zero emission renewable energy credits to applicants with operational facilities over facilities that are not complete or operational.
