AN ACT REQUIRING PARENTAL NOTIFICATION PRIOR TO THE ADMINISTRATION OF AN ABORTION.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Assembly convened:
That the general statutes be amended to require the notification of the parent or guardian of any minor who seeks to terminate a pregnancy prior to the termination of such pregnancy.
Statement of Purpose:
To ensure that the best interests of the minor are protected when facing an unplanned pregnancy.
