AN ACT REQUIRING MANUFACTURERS OF CONSUMER GOODS TO STOCK REPAIR AND REPLACEMENT PARTS.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Assembly convened:
To amend the general statutes to require manufacturers of consumer goods to stock repair and replacement parts for such consumer goods for a minimum of seven years after the retail sale of the goods.
Statement of Purpose:
To protect consumers by requiring consumer goods manufacturers to stock repair and replacement parts for the goods for a minimum period of time.
