AN ACT REQUIRING HOSPITALS TO TRAIN NEW PARENTS ON SAFE SLEEP PRACTICES FOR INFANTS.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Assembly convened:
That title 19a of the general statutes be amended to require hospitals to train new parents on safe sleep practices for infants.
Statement of Purpose:
To decrease cases of sudden infant death syndrome and other accidental deaths of infants during sleep.
