AN ACT CONCERNING CERTIFICATION FOR TECHNICIANS WHO DECONTAMINATE SURGICAL INSTRUMENTS AND OTHER HEALTH CARE EQUIPMENT.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Assembly convened:
That title 20 of the general statutes be amended to require certification for technicians who decontaminate surgical instruments and other health care equipment.
Statement of Purpose:
To reduce hospital-acquired infections by certifying persons who decontaminate surgical instruments.
