AN ACT CREATING A SET-ASIDE PROGRAM FOR DISABLED VETERAN CONTRACTORS.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Assembly convened:
That chapter 58 of the general statutes be amended to establish a program requiring state and quasi-public agencies that contract for more than ten thousand dollars in goods and services each fiscal year to set aside at least three per cent of all such contracts for competitive bidding exclusively by qualified disabled veteran contractors.
Statement of Purpose:
To assist businesses owned by disabled veterans in obtaining state contracts.
