AN ACT CONCERNING PAYMENT RATES FOR EMERGENCY MEDICAL SERVICES PROVIDERS.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Assembly convened:
That section 19a-177 of the general statutes be amended to require the Commissioner of Public Health to take such steps as are necessary to reduce excessive payment rates to emergency medical services providers.
Statement of Purpose:
To prevent emergency medical services providers from charging excessive fees for the services provided.
