AN ACT CONCERNING THE REGISTRATION OF BUSINESSES.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Assembly convened:
That title 34 of the general statutes be amended to require the Secretary of the State to ascertain at the time of registration that the business name of the prospective registrant is not currently in use in the state, and to deny such registration if the same business name is in use in the state.
