AN ACT CONCERNING PHOTO IDENTIFICATION AT MUNICIPAL POLLING PLACES.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Assembly convened:
That chapter 147 of the general statutes be amended to provide that prior to voting in any election a voter shall present valid photo identification upon arrival at a municipal polling place.
Statement of Purpose:
To require voters to present valid photo identification prior to voting.
