AN ACT PROHIBITING THE USE OF RISK REDUCTION CREDITS TO REDUCE A CRIMINAL SENTENCE FOR AN OFFENSE THAT INVOLVED A FATALITY.

Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Assembly convened:

That section 18-98e of the general statutes be amended to prohibit the use of risk reduction credits to reduce a criminal sentence for an offense that involved a fatality.

Statement of Purpose:

To prohibit the use of risk reduction credits to reduce a criminal sentence for an offense that involved a fatality.
