AN ACT REQUIRING ANY SCHOOL BUS PURCHASED FOR USE IN CONNECTICUT TO BE EQUIPPED WITH SEAT SAFETY BELTS.

Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Assembly convened:

That any school bus purchased for use in the state shall be equipped with seat safety belts installed by the manufacturer.

Statement of Purpose:

To make school bus transportation safer.
