AN ACT CONCERNING THE IMPLEMENTATION OF A MODERN METHOD OF FORECLOSURE.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Assembly convened:
That section 49-24 of the general statutes be amended to provide the Superior Court with the authority to order the market sale of any real property containing a building or structure that is occupied or intended to be occupied by not more than four families.
Statement of Purpose:
To implement the use of market sales in foreclosure proceedings in order to promote a more efficient method for selling foreclosed properties.
