AN ACT PROHIBITING THE SALE OR POSSESSION OF SALVIA DIVINORUM.

Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Assembly convened:

That the general statutes be amended to prohibit the sale or possession of salvia divinorum by including it as a regulated controlled substance.

Statement of Purpose:

To prevent the purchase and use of the psychoactive plant salvia divinorum.
