RESOLUTION PROPOSING A CONSTITUTIONAL AMENDMENT TO PROHIBIT THE ENACTMENT OF TAXES BASED ON THE NUMBER OF MILES DRIVEN.
Resolved by this Assembly:
That article third of the Constitution of the state be amended to prohibit the General Assembly from enacting any tax using the number of miles driven as a basis.
Statement of Purpose:
To prevent tax burdens based on the number of miles driven from being imposed on state drivers.
