HOUSE BILL NO. 113

AN ACT TO AMEND TITLE 3 OF THE DELAWARE CODE RELATING TO IRRIGATION PRESERVATION.

BE IT ENACTED BY THE GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF DELAWARE:

Section 1.Amend §2301(2), Title 3 of the Delaware Code by striking the phrase "Department of Natural Resources and Environmental Control" where it appears at the end of subsection (2) and by substituting in lieu thereof: "Department of Agriculture".

SYNOPSIS

This bill transfers control of the application and permitting of certain irrigation systems from the Department of Natural Resources and Environmental Control to the Department of Agriculture.
