HOUSE BILL NO. 8

AN ACT TO AMEND TITLE 19 OF THE DELAWARE CODE RELATING TO UNEMPLOYMENT COMPENSATION.

BE IT ENACTED BY THE GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF DELAWARE:

Section 1.Amend §3302(10)(D)(iii)(V)(1) of Title 19 of the Delaware Code by striking the existing language and replacing it with the following:

"1. A major nontenured policymaking or advisory position including judicial law clerks employed for one year or less, or".

SYNOPSIS

This Bill clarifies that judicial law clerks employed for one (1) year or less are not eligible for unemployment compensation.
