RECOGNIZING AND PROCLAIMING JUNE 2011 AS "NEW HOMES MONTH." |
WHEREAS, the quality home builders of the State of Delaware care about the community and have provided safe, decent, and affordable housing for the population; and
WHEREAS, the building industry has provided economic growth to the communities throughout the State by employing its citizens and building new homes; and
WHEREAS, quality home builders aim to provide better housing, and builders provide public facilities such as schools and libraries for all citizens in the State; and
WHEREAS, quality home builders strive to beautify the community and conserve our environment by developing parks, green space, and wooded landscapes;
NOW, THEREFORE:
BE IT RESOLVED, by the House of Representatives of the 146th General Assembly of the State of Delaware, the Senate concurring therein, that June 2011 is hereby proclaimed as "New Homes Month," and the citizens of our State are urged to recognize the month dedicated to building better homes and improving the quality of life for our State.
