HOUSE RESOLUTION NO. 6
AMENDING THE RULES OF THE HOUSE OF REPRESENTATIVES OF THE 153RD GENERAL ASSEMBLY RELATING TO ACCEPTANCE OF BILLS FOR FILING.
NOW, THEREFORE:
BE IT RESOLVED by the House of Representatives of the 153rd General Assembly of the State of Delaware that Rule 21 of the Rules of the House of Representatives of the 153 rd General Assembly be amended by inserting the following after Rule 21(b)(2) and by redesignating accordingly:
“(c) The Chief Clerk may not refuse to accept a bill or resolution for filing under paragraph (b)(1) of this rule.”.
SYNOPSIS
This amendment to the House Rules provides that the Chief Clerk cannot refuse to accept a bill or resolution into the prefile.
