       Senator Hays moved the following:
       
    1         Senate Amendment (with title amendment)
    2  
    3         Between lines 2694 and 2695
    4  insert:
    5         Section 48. Subsection (7) of section 464.203, Florida
    6  Statutes, is amended to read:
    7         464.203 Certified nursing assistants; certification
    8  requirement.—
    9         (7) A certified nursing assistant shall complete 24 12
   10  hours of inservice training every 2 years during each calendar
   11  year. The certified nursing assistant is shall be responsible
   12  for maintaining documentation demonstrating compliance with
   13  these provisions. The Council on Certified Nursing Assistants,
   14  in accordance with s. 464.2085(2) (b), shall propose rules to
   15  implement this subsection.
   16         Section 49. Section 464.2085, Florida Statutes, is
   17  repealed.

   21         Delete line 292
   22  and insert:
   23         home health agencies; amending s. 464.203, F.S.;
   24         revising certified nursing assistant inservice
   25         training requirements; repealing s. 464.2085, F.S.,
   26         relating to the creation, membership, and duties of
   27         the Council on Certified Nursing Assistants; providing
   28         effective dates.
